The Kolkata roadshow serves as an important stepping stone to further strengthen ties between Gujarat and potential investors and partners, solidifying the state's reputation as a hub of economic growth and development on a global scale.
After the overwhelming success of the Delhi roadshow for the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2024, the Gujarat government is all ready to host another roadshow in Kolkata on 1 November, 2023. Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of State for Home & Police Housing, Industry and Cultural Activities will lead the roadshow.
According to the official statement by the Gujarat government, the primary objective of this roadshow is to spotlight Gujarat as the 'Gateway to the Future' through VGGS 2024. It aims to explore avenues for businesses and organisations to engage in collaborations and partnerships across various sectors within Gujarat and to attract investments in forward-looking mega projects, including GIFT City, Dholera Special Investment Region , and Mandal Becharaji Special Investment Region.
The event's will start with a welcome address by Chintan Thaker, Chairman of the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) Gujarat Council. This will be followed by a presentation on the business prospects in Gujarat by Dr. Kuldeep Arya, IAS, Additional Industries Commissioner (SP), Gujarat.
The audience will also benefit from insights provided by prominent industry leaders on their experiences in Gujarat, as well as viewing audio-visual presentations on Vibrant Gujarat, Dholera Special Investment Region and Gift City.
Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of State, will deliver an address talking about 20 years of VGGS's remarkable success, the Prime Minister's vision of 'Viksit Bharat@2047,' and Gujarat's readiness to embrace this vision under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
The event will conclude with a vote of thanks delivered by Ravi Agarwal, President of Rupa & Company, Director of Neo Metaliks, and Immediate Past Chair of ASSOCHAM (Eastern Region).
