Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway is expected to be operational by June this year. The expressway will connect Gujarat’s largest city, Ahmedabad, with India’s first Greenfield Smart City, Dholera. Built at a cost of ₹4,373 crore, the project will reduce travel time between the two cities to just 40–45 minutes.
With most of the construction work nearing completion, people are eager to know about the entry and exit points of the expressway, the number of interchanges along the route, and their locations. Here are the key details:
The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway (NH-751) is a 109-km, four-lane, access-controlled highway designed to connect Ahmedabad to Dholera SIR and beyond. It begins at the Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej in southwest Ahmedabad and extends southward toward Dholera SIR.
The entry point, or “escape,” for the Dholera Expressway is located on the Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej, specifically close to the junction where SP Ring Road meets NH-8A, near the Sarkhej-Okaf area in southwest Ahmedabad.
The expressway features eight major interchanges that serve as entry and exit points. While final kilometer markers may vary slightly, the main interchanges are:
