Bhupendra Patel Tells Apex Panel Of The National Industrial Corridor Development Program That Land Acquisition For Rail Project In Dholera Was On Track

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel told the Apex Committee of the National Industrial Corridor Development Program that the Dhloera airport project, which has been approved in principle, will be expeditiously implemented. Patel was speaking at the first meeting of the committee held in New Delhi on Thursday.

He said that the land acquisition process for the Bhimnath-Dholera Rail Project was in process and the combined measurement survey for the same was completed. The project aims to provide railway connectivity for the industries that will be set up in Dholera. He said the state is making efforts to complete the tender process and the land acquisition for the rail project in the next six months.

The Chief Minister also said that Gujarat is ready to extend full cooperation in the National Industrial Corridor Development Program. Apart from Patel, the virtual meeting was attended by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Industry and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Chief ministers and Industry ministers of Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand also virtually participated in the meeting.
